For deep diving enthusiasts, Venezuela has some of the most beautiful and interesting places in the world: Los Roques Archipelago is a group of approximately 50 islands and keys located 136 km, north of La Guaira, the Port of Caracas. It's known for its innumerable coralline reefs and wide mangrove swamps, surrounded by lonely beaches like few in the world.

There is a small fishing community living in Los Roques. They work in the small industry of fishing lobsters; sea shells and tropical water fish. Los Roques Archipelago is an incomplete atoll, still in the formation process. Its base is an underwater mess that rises briskly from the surrounding sea floor. Is a wonderful area with a great variety of soft and hard corals, a multitude of fishes, and various white sandy beaches. Los Roques, mostly uninhabited, invites one to swim scuba dive, snorkel, sail, and fish or just enjoy the virgin keys.

5 Days / 4 Nights

Day 1. Caracas

Arrival at Maiquetia International Airport, located alongside the seashore. Assistance and transfer to your Hotel in the littoral. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 2. Caracas-Los Roques ( BLD)

Early Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Los Roques. Assistance upon arrival and transfer to the Posada. Navigation on the calm waters of Los Roques to the diving spots. Some 42 small islands surround a lagoon of around 400 km. towards the northeast, you will find El Gran Roque, with its lighthouses and small posadas.

The rest of the Archipelago is flat and deserted keys, populated by an abundant variety of birds. This Archipelago is a reef system in permanent formation, with an impressive variety of species. Its coral reefs hold great value in its biological, ecological, physiographic, and scenic elements. Enjoy 2 Immersions this day. Return to the Posada. Accommodation, dinner, and overnight.

Days 3-4. Diving in Los Roques (BLD)

Breakfast. Gather your equipment and prepare for the real action of diving. After some minutes on the boat, you will arrive at one of the famous spots for diving in the Archipelago. Huge amounts of marine life, walls of soft corals, and sea whips. Descend through a kaleidoscope of tropical fish and a wide variety of marine life.

Along the flanks of underwater mountains, the barracudas sail in precise formation and stingrays lie in wait on the sandy bottom. You will find an extensive diversity of dive sites: perpendicular drop-offs, shallow reefs, pinnacles, caves that harbor sharks and crustaceans of every type, hide in crevices among forests of sponges, all sites reminiscent of everything from the Galapagos to Bonaire. Los Roques indeed provides the most exceptional, out-of-the-way, and supreme of all Caribbean underwater adventures. Return to the Posada. Overnight.

Day 5. Los Roques-Caracas (B)

Breakfast. Free time until transfer to the airport. Flight to Caracas.
