Day 1. Arrival - Maturin

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Maturin. Transfer to the port where we will be taken a ride by the channels and then assist to the rendezvous with the Warao community in the heart of Orinoco Delta, an almost untouched area, which was created by the encounter of the soft water of the Orinoco River and the seawater of the Ocean. After lunch in the camp, you will take a walk around the jungle to observe the tropical fauna and fish some fierce piranhas! Overnight at the camp.

Day 2. Canaima National Park

Breakfast. Boat ride to Boca de Uracoa pier and transfer to the airport. Flight to the wonderful Canaima National Park the biggest park of Venezuela (3 million hectares). Overflight to the Angel Falls (if weather condition allows it). Early transfer to Ucaima Port to take a curiara through the Carrao River. At the Mayupa rapids, it may be necessary to walk for about 20 min and let the crew haul the empty canoe through them.

A short time after beginning your journey, you will be dazzled by the majestic Auyantepuy, home of the Angel Falls, standing still as a medieval fortress of gigantic dimensions. Its impressive walls shelter the river from both sides. Once inside the Canyon, the Angel Falls appear in all its majesty when the boat approaches Ratoncito Island. Lunch in the open forest.

Once in the camp board another curiara up until the point where you will walk to Laime lookout point. Enjoy a nice bath in the pool formed by the waterfall on its way down. Dinner and Overnight in the jungle at the base of Angel Falls. In hammocks with mosquito nets.

Note: In case there is not enough water in the rivers, the trip to Angel Falls will be replaced by a tour to Orchid Island or an Overflight to Angel Falls. The weather conditions will be known about a week before and we will advise the Group

Day 3. Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip to take the flight to Caracas via Puerto Ordaz and then take your flight back to Porlamar. Transfer to the Hotel.

Included:

-1 night of accommodation in Orinoco Delta Lodge, full board, taxes and services and excursions.

-1 night at the base of Angel Falls in hammocks with full Board.

-Flight Porlamar – Maturín

Puerto Ordaz- Canaima – Puerto Ordaz

Puerto Ordaz- Caracas- Porlamar

-All mentioned transfers, terrestrial and fluvial. All mentioned excursions.

-Overflight of Angel Falls (if weather condition allows it)
