CARACAS – PUERTO ORDAZ – CANAIMA – ANGEL FALLS – CARACAS LITTORAL – PORT OF SPAIN – GEORGETOWN

10 Days / 9 Nights

Day 1. Caracas

Arrival at Maiquetia International Airport. English bilingual assistance by an Alborada Guide who will give you the briefing on your trip, vouchers, and air tickets. Transfer to the hotel in Caracas: the Caribbean Metropolis. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 2. Caracas – Puerto Ordaz (B)

Breakfast. Excursion to Caracas cable car to enjoy the magnificent view of the city from Avila Mountain Transfer to the airport to take the connecting flight to Puerto Ordaz. Transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 3. Puerto Ordaz - Canaima (BLD)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure in a Charter flight to Canaima. Arrive at The Lost World of the Canaima National Park Installation in the lodge in front of the falls. Admire a fantastic view of the lake and behind the ancient mountains called “tepuys” by the Pemon Indigenous Community. Lunch. Excursion to Sapo Falls.

After crossing the Canaima lagoon in Indigenous canoes conducted by Indigenous, we will pass the Ucaima, Golondrina, and Hacha waterfalls that fall spectacularly into the lagoon. Have an excellent view of the savannahs surrounding tropical forests and the Tepuys: unexplored majestic tabletop mountains considered the oldest rock formations of our planet. We continue the excursion walking behind the curtain of water (some 200 meters), which descends from the dashing Carrao River. Return to the Camp. Dinner and Overnight in the Lodge.

Day 4. Canaima (BLD)

Breakfast. Full Day River Excursion to the bottom of Angel Falls. Arrive at Ratoncito Island where we will have a spectacular view of Angel Falls. After one hour of walking, reach the base of Angel Falls and take a refreshing bath in the Pool formed by the falling water. Lunch on Ratoncito Island. Return to the camp in Canaima. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5. Canaima – Puerto Ordaz – Caracas Littoral (B)

Enjoy your last bath in the Canaima lagoon with medical powers. Free time to visit the handicrafts shop or visit the Indigenous community. Flight to Caracas. Arrive at Maiquetia airport, located alongside the seashore, and only 35 min away from the city. Transfer to the selected Hotel in Littoral. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 6. Caracas – Port of Spain – Georgetown (B)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Port of Spain. Arrive at the colorful Caribbean City of Port of Spain. Continuation flight to Georgetown. Transfer to the selected hotel, accommodation, and overnight.

Day 7. Georgetown (B)

After breakfast, enjoy the visit to Georgetown city. Georgetown is the capital and largest city of Guiana. Located in the Demerara-Mahaica region. It’s located on the Atlantic Ocean coast at the mouth of the Demerara River and it was nicknamed 'The Garden City of the Caribbean. There are also many tourist attractions in Georgetown including the St. George's cathedral, Stabroek market, and the Demerara Harbour Bridge. Overnight.

Day 8. Georgetown – The Wonderful Kaieteur Falls (BL)

After breakfast take a flight to Kaieteur, the second world’s highest free-falling waterfall after Venezuela’s Angel Falls. 100 meters wide created as the Potaro River makes a sheer drop of 228 meters, nearly five times the height of Niagara. The spectacle is the more impressive for its remoteness and it is altogether possible that we’ll be the only persons viewing it.

Here we will hope to find White-chinned and White-tipped Swifts swirling over the gorge, and perhaps we’ll be lucky enough to see the astonishingly colorful Guiana Cock-of-the-Rock close by. Orange-breasted Falcon can be seen over the gorge as it hunts for swifts. The flight then continues on to Orinduik Falls before returning to Georgetown. Overnight.

Day 9. Georgetown – Port of Spain (B)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Port of Spain where you will enjoy a visit and relax in Maraca one of the most popular beaches in this gorgeous destination. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 10. Port of Spain (B)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take your international flight.

NOTE: As Ecotourism countries, Venezuela and Guyana Airports and airplanes are small with limited capacity

IN VENEZUELA:

It is important to know that for flights to Canaima the weight of the luggage should not exceed 10k, since the planes are small. Alborada with a minor cost can keep the extra luggage.

The excursion to Angel Falls depends on the water levels. If they are low, Angel falls will be changed for the Excursion to Orchid Island or an Overflight to Angel Falls.

IN GUIANA:

Passengers traveling on domestic flights are allowed one free baggage allowance of 15 Kilos of weight greater than the passengers will cost extra.

It is an obligation to inform the body weight of internal flights in Guiana.
