Tour Highlights
Day 1. Caracas
Arrival to Caracas and assistance at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Alborada guide will give information and tips about the country providing vouchers and air tickets. Overnight in Caracas.
Day 2. Puerto Ordaz- Canaima National Park- Sapo Falls (BLD)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Puerto Ordaz. At the arrival to Puerto Ordaz take the connection flight to Canaima National Park, the biggest park of Venezuela and surely one of the most unspoiled locations in the world today. During your flight you will be taken thru the Tepuys and will have time to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reception at Canaima landing strip by the local bilingual guide, transfer to the lodge in a typical 4x4 jeep. Installation . Canoe ride in Canaima lagoon approaching to the falls. Enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon your guide will pick you up at the lodge to take a short walk thru the forest up until Sapo and Sapito Falls. On your way you will walk under the water curtain formed from the falling water. Once being up the mountain the view will leave you breathless. In the middle of Canaima National Park, your local guide will give you detailed stories about the ancient rock formations, once considered the gods and goddess of the Indians. Time to enjoy a bath on the beach in front of the fall. Return to the Lodge. Dinner and Overnight in Canaima.
Day 3. Full Day to Angel Falls (BLD)
Breakfast. Transfer to Ucaima Port to take a curiara through the Carrao River. At the Mayupa rapids it may be necessary to walk for about 20 minutes and let the crew haul the empty canoe through them. Short time after beginning your journey, you will be dazzled by the majestic Auyantepuy, home of the Angel Falls, standing still as medieval fortress of gigantic dimensions. Its impressive walls shelter the river from both sides. Once inside the Canyon, the Angel Falls appear in all its majesty when the boat approaches Ratoncito Island. Lunch in the open forest. Once in the camp board another curiara up until the point where you will walk to Laime lookout point. Enjoy a nice bath on the pool formed by the waterfall on its way down, or relax going swimming in the Churun River At the end of the day return to the camp. Dinner and overnight in comfortable lodge in Canaima .
Day 4. Canaima- Caracas (B)
Breakfast. Free time to walk around the Indigenous community or to see the traditional handicrafts. Transfer to the airstrip to take your flight to Caracas (by Puerto Ordaz). Arrival to Caracas. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Caracas.
Day 5. Panoramic visit of Caracas and excursion to Avila Mountain National Park in Cable Car ride (B)
Breakfast. Panoramic visit of this Caribbean City, discover the city visiting all major points of interest: The Yellow House, The Municipal Council, Simon Bolivar Birthplace, the Cathedral; where our “Liberator” remains rest, and Bolivar Square, one of the most important and recognized Venezuela’s public places. Then ride the Caracas Cable Car and enjoy the splendorous view of the city from Avila Mountain. Have a close look of the Humboldt Hotel, an architectural structure built on the highest point of the Mountain. From this point the altitude is of some 2.850 mts. Transfer to the airport to take your international connection flight.
